Interim

The Session extends its gratitude to Dr. Thomas A. Erickson who served NPC ably as Interim Senior Pastor and Head of Staff.

Dr. Erickson came to NPC after a distinguished career serving the Lord in a variety of congregations, recently at Valley Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley, AZ. He served as Senior Pastor at Valley, a vibrant church of 2,200 members, for 16 years until his retirement in March, 2002. Previously, he served in pastoral positions in the states of Washington, California, and Massachusetts, and served on the Board of Trustees of Princeton Theological Seminary.

Dr. Erickson's ministry has been centered in calling people to faith in Jesus Christ and to ministry in the world in Christ's name. He was deeply committed to NPC's worshipping congregation through biblically based, Christ-centered preaching in the Reformed tradition. Tom is a warm, thoughtful, vibrant, devoted disciple of Christ who is deeply loved by his congregations.

Dr. Erickson and his wife of 50 years, Carol, moved to Washington in August 2002 and served NPC as interim pastor for two years.

The Session is grateful to the Lord for his provision, and we are delighted to have had Tom and Carol as members of the NPC family.
