A Guided Tour of the Bible is National Presbyterian Church’s own foundational study of the Scriptures. As the core courses in Bible for the Institute for Christian Studies, the Guided Tour consists of ten, five week terms, covering the entire Bible in one year. Classes are held on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for one hour. A small fee of $10.00 for each course covers the cost for a notebook of materials.
The Guided Tour is designed to help provide participants with a foundational literary, historical, and theological understanding of each section of Scripture, personally reading and studying the text of Scripture in a way that encourages and stimulates personal faith in Christ in the context of a supportive community. Historical outlines and charts, glossary of Bible terms, maps, and helpful graphic and pictorial materials will be provided with each section of Scripture.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work."
