Why? Christ calls us to love God with our whole being and to love others as ourselves. Our experience of God’s goodness, forgiveness, and grace moves us to serve others in need. Each of us is called to mission right where we are, working alongside others to serve our church, our local community, our nation, and the world.
Mission for us is shaped by three core values: proclamation, presence, and partnership.
- Proclamation tells the story of the love of God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
- Presence embodies that love and grace in compassion and social justice.
- Partnership evidences the body of Christ in the world, as we serve and learn together.
