Great Day of Service

NPC’s Great Day of Service is back and better than ever! We’re inviting you to join us on Saturday, May 20th, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm to make a real difference in the lives of thousands of people in DC and around the world.

We have an array of opportunities to serve, from packing meals to feed 17,000 people overseas to reading with underserved kids and collecting food for the hungry and families in need. Just imagine the impact you can make in just a few hours!

Invite your friends and family to come along! We truly need your help to show the love of Christ to our city and the world.

If you have young children, we’ve got you covered – childcare will be provided for kids under the age of 4 for activities taking place on the NPC campus. Reservations are required so please reserve a spot using the registration form.

Food Drive

Central Union Mission provides groceries to 4,000 or more individuals and families each month. Last year they gave out 13,091 sandwiches to hungry people who came to their door and made 117,736 meals on-site for men experiencing homelessness. Food insecurity in our city is overwhelming and ongoing. You can help by donating nonperishables at the drive-thru collection during the Great Day of Service. Before then, you can put items in the big brown bins in the main entrance and outside the sanctuary on Sunday or during the next week. Please help us feed the hungry in our city.
