On October 14,1967, the cornerstone of the present day National Presbyterian Church building here on Nebraska Ave was laid by President Eisenhower. This October, we will celebrate how the Holy Spirit led us to our church home, allowing us to expand our mission and further spread Christ’s love to the broader community.
Save the date for the morning of October 22 as we celebrate with:
- Special Guest Preacher Earl Palmer (worship at 9, 10:50, or 11 a.m.): former interim pastor at National, and founder of Earl Palmer Ministries
- 50-year Anniversary Exhibit: exploring our history in pictures and stories
- Refreshments and Program (10:15 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.): hear from Dr. Renwick about God’s work in our church and enjoy a video about our history and our future
