Authentic worship is an interaction between living human beings and the living God. There isn’t be anything dead or static about it! Our worship services will help you to express your praise and prayers to God. Which time is best for you and your family? It’s up to you!
First Service, 8:15 a.m. on Sundays, Chapel of the Presidents.
A contemporary service for those who enjoy a more relaxed style of worship. The scripture and sermon are identical to those at the traditional services. The First Service is family-friendly and children are part of the worship experience. The music includes upbeat praise singing, as well as traditional hymns. All are welcome!
9:15 and 11:00 services, Main Sanctuary. These services feature a full choir, classic hymns, and masterful organ music. On special occasions, we are blessed by members of the National Symphony Orchestra and other talented Washington area professional ensembles offering their gifts of music in worship.
Communion. We serve Communion in worship on the first Sunday of every month, and all who acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and have been baptized in any church can participate. You don’t have to be Presbyterian or be a member here.
Accessibility. Our Chapel and Sanctuary are handicap accessible. Large print bulletins and hymnals are provided at the 9:15 and 11:00 services. Devices to assist the hearing impaired are also available in the main sanctuary.
