The Sacrament of Communion

The sacrament of communion involves eating bread and drinking wine (or grape juice) which symbolizes the body and blood of Jesus. It is a sign of eating and drinking in common union with the crucified and risen Lord Jesus. He commanded His followers to share the bread and the cup to remember His death and resurrection until He comes again.

At NPC, communion is celebrated at all worship services on certain Sundays. Communion is also celebrated at vespers services during Lent and Advent.
