We are seeking those whom God has prepared to lead our congregation to
WORSHIP - GROW - SERVE
Help us seek out those whom God has prepared to lead our congregation. We are looking for Recommendations for Church Office for the term commencing 2009. We are filling Elder, Trustee, Deacon, 2009 Officer Nominating Committee, and NPC Fund positions.
We seek men and women of strong faith and conviction, with joyful hearts, who exhibit initiative, spiritual maturity, and loving concern for and encouragement of others. We select these people based on the Book of Order and the following:
Criteria
- Jesus Christ is their personal Lord & Savior
- Demonstrate a committed stewardship of their time, talent, & treasure
- NPC member & attend NPC worship regularly
- Participate in the life & service of NPC
- Humbly live as mature Christians
- Be in daily prayer & Bible study
- Participate in a discipleship group
- Familiar with Presbyterian polity
Characteristics and Skills
- Graciously work with others
- Ability to complete projects
- Openness to new ideas
- Maturity of judgment
- Willingness to learn
Commitment: Officers are normally elected to a three-year term (2009 - 2012). Officer Nominating Committee members serve a one-year term.
There is no limit to the amount of recommendations that you can give us. You may recommend yourself if you believe you qualify and have the desire to serve.
